Hello bloggers, I'm blogging at school so I'll have to cut it short. I've been having mixed feelings about playing the trombone. It gets boring once you play it for two years so, I will stick with it until high school then I'll decide what to do.
What's this? It's easier to be brothers online huh...
I played trombone through middle school and stopped during high school because I was a punk and didn't want to march.
I didn't feel bad about it until my junior year of high school, when my buddy who stuck it out told me that if I hadn't quit I'd easily be 1st chair. Still, I had a rigorous schedule of school, video games, a job and a weekend traveling Church choir. So even though I felt a little bad about it, I knew I was busy with other things and didn't regret that decision.
You'll find in life you have lots of opportunities to get involved with all sorts of things. Pick and choose the ones you enjoy, like the trombone, football and youth group. Don't feel bad when you say no to other opportunities.

Hopefully you stick with the trombone and dont give it up. You are good at it and continue to excell. Hopefully you decide to stick with it.
